On the release of his debut album, Peach Crate, Loughlin stepped out of the sideman role to prove that he is a formidable front man in his own right. Drawing upon the rich musical roots--the moods and memories--of his childhood days in Florida, Loughlin’s pays homage to many of his guitar heroes- players like Jimmy Bryant, Hank Garland, Danny Gatton and Les Paul--and to the days when the guitar reigned supreme on the airwaves.

"I'm burning down the interstate," Rob Leines sings halfway through Headcase, an album that finds the road warrior occupying the intersection of blue-collar rock & roll and outlaw country. Pulling triple duty as a songwriter, southern storyteller, and modern-day guitar hero, Leines fills his third album with tales from the fast lane, punctuating each song with amplified riffs and a voice sharpened by a heavy touring schedule. The result is a record for dive bars and dance halls, for highways and honky-tonks, for wheels that spin and and horizons that linger just out of reach. Before recording Headcase with co-producers Mike Harmeier (the longtime frontman of Silverada, formerly known as Mike and the Moonpies) and Adam Odor, Leines quit his longtime job as a welder and hit the road in support of 2021's Blood Sweat and Beers. That record became his breakthrough release, earning Leines a year's worth of gigs with marquee acts like Dwight Yoakam and The Mavericks. Night after night, he hit the stage with his power trio, mixing rock & roll bang with Telecaster twang. Recorded between shows, Headcase captures that live chemistry with songs that dig beneath the blacktop for stories about love lost, chances taken, and life lived between the mile markers.

Andy Thomas has worked his way up the ranks as an electrifying guitarist across the United States and abroad, whether it’s fronting his own wild-n-out project The Trongone Band or being the six-string rocket fuel for the melodic muscle car that is acclaimed Americana act Yarn. Produced by fellow Virginia native and longtime friend Dave Schools, the legendary bassist for Widespread Panic, and captured at the renowned Spacebomb Studios, Thomas' debut album, “Highway Junkie,” connects the dots of Thomas’ troubled past and hard-fought strength of self in the present — this juncture of fiery southern rock & roll and high-octane country blues.

SOPHIE GAULT is a Nashville-based singer-songwriter originally from Prince George’s County, Maryland, just outside of Washington, D.C. She grew up on her artist parents’ record collection, listening to old blues, folk, and rock and roll from an early age. This music continues to shape both her sound and her approach to songwriting. Before committing fully to music, Gault spent more than a decade working in kitchens and taking on odd jobs while writing songs and performing. She was enrolled in graduate school training to become an elementary school teacher when an unexpected record deal shifted her path, drawing her back into music and eventually to Nashville with a clearer sense of direction and voice.

Her debut album, “Delusions of Grandeur” (2022), and follow-up “Baltic Street Hotel” (2024) , established her as a writer drawn to unpolished honesty and emotional directness. While those records leaned into country rock, alt-country, and blues, earning attention for its raw guitar work, restraint, and vocal presence, Gault’s newest album, “UNHINGED“ moves faster and hits harder, incorporating punk energy alongside rock and roll, blues, country, and folk. The performances are urgent and physical, and her voice carries a new level of bite and authority: confident, weathered, and fully in command. She has also contributed to the work of artists she admires, singing on Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart by Lucinda Williams alongside Siobhan Maher Kennedy, Buddy Miller, Margo Price, and Jeremy Ivey. As a performer and songwriter, Sophie Gault is stubborn by nature. She works outside of trends, follows instinct over instruction, and makes music on her own terms. Her songs don’t ask for permission, and neither does she.

Amanda’s debut album, “Hell or High Water” is the perfect example of this synergy of genres. From the psychedelic bass line of “Malibu Daydream” to the Stevie Nicks influence of the bewitching, “Desert Rose”, Amanda’s album takes the listener on a journey through many different vibes. The Dang-it Bobbys are the bourbon-soaked brain-child of multi-instrumentalist Kris Bauman and guitarist Luca Benedetti. Formed in 2004, the two Brooklyn based musicians have assembled a project that borrows from classic country music, newer acoustic and electric sounds, and the intricate standards from the golden age of jazz. The result is strikingly original, at once both playful and poignant. Bauman and Benedetti have created a blend of American music that is sometimes quick picking, sometimes blue, and always entertaining.

As music has become more and more accessible to people, and the ideas by one person can spread to millions within seconds, it has become harder and harder for stubborn critics to pigeonhole an artist within a genre. Austin native Willy McGee might be the toughest task yet when giving his music a listen. The thirty-one-year-old singer/songwriter has a voice reminiscent of some of country’s greatest with its baritone register and raspy tone. However, his production blends the country guitar sounds and blues licks with some acid jazz and funkadelic rhythms to create music that truly stands out in a playlist. A background in theatre and a passion for filmmaking has made him develop a huge self-awareness when it comes to the visual aspect of the music and the vibe he creates when in the studio. All of this makes Willy McGee one of the most out-there characters in the Texas music scene, yet he oozes this air of relatability that is hard to come by. All these questions lead to only one solution, and that is to follow his career and find out the method for his madness as it all unfolds!

Raised between the San Bernardino line in SoCal and the south borderlands of Texas, Alicia Blue grew up between cultures, rhythms, and stories—mariachi on her dad’s stereo, Country and Folk in her headphones, and notebooks full of poetry in her backpack. Music wasn’t the plan, but life had other ideas. A chance run-in with an aging soul singer changed everything—he saw something in her, and she leaned in. The poems turned into songs, and the guitar—barely more than a few chords at the time—became her tool for survival and connection.

Since then, Alicia has carved out a sound rooted in Americana and Country, shaped by fearless storytelling and a voice oft compared to Dolly or Emmylou, with a little Waylon at the edges. Her 2024 duet with Lucinda Williams, “Tennessee,” lit up critics and fans alike and she’s now recording her debut country album with none other than producer Shooter Jennings, who calls her “the voice of a generation” and “as rare as they come.” Alicia Blue is poised for a major year - and her singular sound is just beginning to reach the audience it was made for.

SAM MORROW spent years knocking on doors that wouldn't budge, walking through ones that led nowhere, and closing others behind him. one. A cross-country move, change of perspective, and fresh outlook on life were catalysts that also steered Morrow to cross the threshold on a new sound. Make no mistake, that’s exactly what his new record, “Southern Boogie” represents—raw, Texas-bred southern rock that sounds exactly like what it is: Sam Morrow, confidently evolving. His earlier albums—”Concrete & Mud”, “Gettin' By On Gettin' Down”, and “On The Ride Here”—earned praise from NPR and Rolling Stone for their swampy blend of country funk, and roadhouse blues. And while those records were a huge part of his life, they also lined up to a time and place that he was leaving behind. Recorded mostly live, in Austin, with producer Jonathan Tyler, the sessions were stripped-down and analog: two guitars, bass, keys, drums. All tube amps. No click track. No safety net. "Jonathan got it before I even explained it," Morrow says. "We just wanted it to sound gritty and raw. Like a band in a room, because that's what it is." The result is unapologetically guitar driven. Straight-ahead southern rock with a Texas backbone—ZZ Top's grit and groove without trying to sound like anyone but himself. "I just want people to listen to this and have a good time," Morrow says. "Don't take shit too seriously. That's kind of my mantra." After years of searching, Sam Morrow quit looking for approval. “Southern Boogie” is what's on the other side—loud, honest, and exactly where he is supposed to be
