Of course, you’re welcome to two-step any ole’ time - but Tuesdays are as good a time as any, and now it’s our dedicated night of toe-tapping and twirling to the best Country & Western Dance music NY has to offer. With pre-show lessons at 8pm from veteran Skinny Dennis dance aficionado, Sara Juran, we invite y’all to put you’re dancing pants on and join us in the fun!
This week’s featured band:
The Wildmans are a sibling duo from the mountains of Floyd, Virginia, blending Americana, indie-folk, bluegrass, and old-time traditions into a sound uniquely their own. Raised in the region’s vibrant acoustic music community, Aila (fiddle) and Elisha (guitar/mandolin) grew up winning competitions across Southern Appalachia before both attending Berklee College of Music. Their debut album, Longtime Friend, highlights their tight harmonies, musical virtuosity, and wide-ranging influences — from traditional tunes to the cosmic country of Gram Parsons. Rooted in their Appalachian upbringing but unafraid to explore new sonic territory, The Wildmans are carving out a fresh, dynamic voice in modern Americana.
